I started Octopus Bookkeeping because I kept seeing the same problem – hardworking tradies running great businesses but drowning in paperwork, stressed about BAS, and with no clear picture of their finances.
I’d spent years working in bookkeeping and finance, and I realised that most bookkeepers either didn’t understand the trades industry, or they made the whole thing feel complicated and intimidating.
So I built something different. A bookkeeping service that speaks tradie – that understands job costing, subcontractors, CoInvest, portable long service leave, and all the specific compliance requirements that come with running a trades business in Australia.
